Google Business Profile
A verified Google Business Profile location that the authorizing Google account can manage
Ownership and availability
You own and verify the Business Profile. Obelo manages the OAuth application and keeps the granted credential server-side.
Start in Settings → Integrations and check the provider’s current status. This guide describes the configured setup path, not a guarantee of production enablement. Provider approval, plan access and resource permissions still apply.
Before you connect
- The business location is claimed and verified in Google Business Profile
- The connecting Google account is an owner or manager of that location
- Obelo's Google Business Profile API access must be active before authorization can open
Connect an existing account
- Open the provider in Settings → Integrations for the intended website.
- Authorize Obelo with the Google account that manages the location
- Choose the correct verified business location from the returned list
- Let Obelo sync local performance and reviews before enabling local actions
If you need a new resource
- Create or claim the business in Google Business Profile
- Complete Google's location verification and add the essential business details
- Add the person who will connect Obelo as an owner or manager
Permissions to check
- Obelo asks only for the scopes needed to discover and manage approved locations
- Location ownership, verification, and user roles remain controlled in Google
Verify and troubleshoot
Once the location is verified and Obelo's provider access is active, return here to authorize and choose it.
Google returned no manageable verified locations. Verify the profile, check the signed-in account's role, then reload the location list.
Confirm the selected account or resource and inspect the verification or sync result. A saved connection is not proof that an import or publication has completed. Test the intended workflow with an appropriately reviewed item.
Disconnect or change access
Use the provider’s management controls in Obelo to disconnect when supported. Revoke the grant or rotate a dedicated credential at the provider if access must end immediately. Review already-imported data separately; disconnection does not remove content already published elsewhere.
