Ownership and availability#

You own the repositories. Obelo manages the GitHub App; the repository owner chooses exactly which repositories it may access.

Start in Settings → Integrations and check the provider’s current status. This guide describes the configured setup path, not a guarantee of production enablement. Provider approval, plan access and resource permissions still apply.

Before you connect#

• Repository administrator access, or organization-owner approval for installation
• A default branch that accepts pull requests
• An Obelo workspace owner or admin completes the installation

Connect an existing account#

1. Open the provider in Settings → Integrations for the intended website.
2. Install the Obelo GitHub App on your personal account or organization
3. Grant access only to the repositories Obelo should use
4. Return and choose up to 12 repositories, including exactly one primary website repository

If you need a new resource#

1. Create or import the repository that contains the website source
2. Enable pull requests and protect the default branch as desired
3. Ask an organization owner to approve the Obelo GitHub App if required

Permissions to check#

• Choose Analyze only or Propose changes separately for every selected repository
• Pull requests write is used to open reviewable changes; Obelo does not bypass branch protection

Verify and troubleshoot#

After repository access is granted, return and reload the list, then choose one primary and any supporting repositories.

The GitHub App installation returned no repositories. Grant it access to at least one of the repositories this website uses or ask the organization owner to approve access.

Confirm the selected account or resource and inspect the verification or sync result. A saved connection is not proof that an import or publication has completed. Test the intended workflow with an appropriately reviewed item.

Disconnect or change access#

Use the provider’s management controls in Obelo to disconnect when supported. Revoke the grant or rotate a dedicated credential at the provider if access must end immediately. Review already-imported data separately; disconnection does not remove content already published elsewhere.
