Agents & specialist roles
Understand the difference between Obelo’s operating roles and its channel agents.
Eight roles, one workspace
The public site describes eight connected specialist roles. These are an operating model, not eight extra bots alongside the channel agents. Each role maps to parts of the workspace.
| Role | Where it shows up |
|---|---|
| Brand Intelligence | Company profile, brand voice and knowledge |
| Campaign Strategist | Planning and strategy in Talk to Obelo |
| Calendar Operator | Calendar planning and review |
| Content Studio | Social, community, articles, influencer and video agents |
| Publishing Manager | Connected destinations and publishing jobs |
| SEO & AI Visibility | SEO, GEO and Coding agents |
| Market Signals | Competitor monitoring and evidence queues |
| Review & Reporting | Approvals and measured analytics |
Before running an agent
Review company context and the required strategy documents. Open its readiness details to distinguish missing source material from missing platform or provider configuration. Draft readiness and automation readiness are different.
Configure the agent’s supported preferences in Settings → Agents. Available cadence controls govern scheduled work; they are not permission to bypass approval or a provider’s rules.
Follow the output
- Run a ready agent and observe its status.
- Open the resulting output and check the source, claims and format.
- Request changes or approve the exact version.
- Use a supported publishing or export action separately.
- Inspect the delivery receipt or resulting artifact before calling the task complete.
Failures and limits
A disabled integration, absent licensed dataset or insufficient credits can block work. Do not treat a blank feed as proof that no opportunity exists. In the Tools preview, relevant agents can also call the shared marketing-tool runner and retain a saved receipt; this does not expand their external-action permissions.
